About the Role Endeavor Health, the principal academic affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, is seeking a fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist to join our established ophthalmology division. This role offers a high-volume glaucoma practice within the North Shore region, supported by a strong referral network, modern infrastructure, and an academic environment. What You'll Do
- Build a robust, glaucoma-focused practice with immediate referrals from comprehensive ophthalmologists, optometrists, and a large integrated primary care network
- Provide comprehensive glaucoma diagnostic and surgical care across clinic settings and a dedicated surgical center at Glenbrook Hospital
- Utilize advanced diagnostic and surgical technology (Humphrey Visual Field analyzers, Spectralis and Cirrus OCT, SLT and YAG lasers, PASCAL retina laser system, Optos imaging, IOL Master 700, intraoperative OCT, Zeiss Artevo microscopes with Callisto, ORA intraoperative aberrometry)
- Perform laser, MIGS, and incisional glaucoma surgeries with support from an experienced team
- Collaborate within a physician-led, integrated medical group within a nationally recognized health system
- Engage in teaching and professional development through the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine affiliation
- Join a multi-site practice with locations in Skokie, Gurnee, and Glenbrook Hospital (Glenview) What We're Looking For
- Fellowship-trained Glaucoma Ophthalmologist (Board Certified/Eligible)
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Currently board-certified or board-eligible in the relevant ophthalmology subspecialty
- Comfortable with a full-time schedule: 40 clinical hours per week, 46 weeks per year
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, academically affiliated practice Nice to Have

- Experience in teaching and mentoring within an ophthalmology program Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation range: $300,000 – $528,000, based on experience, subspecialty training, and productivity
