We are searching for the best talent for General Manager, DePuy Synthes Taiwan

Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for leading the overall DePuy Synthes business in Taiwan, delivering sustainable growth, strengthening customer partnerships, developing organizational capability, and ensuring execution of the MedTech strategy. This leader will serve as a member of the Southeast & North Asia (SENA) leadership team and will be accountable for commercial performance, talent development, customer engagement, and business transformation initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Develop and execute the Taiwan business strategy aligned with regional and global priorities.

  • Deliver revenue, profitability, market share, and operational objectives across all DePuy Synthes platforms.

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing organization across sales, marketing, commercial excellence, and support functions.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, surgeons, hospital administrators, procurement leaders, professional societies, and government agencies.

  • Drive customer-centric innovation and identify opportunities to expand market access and accelerate growth.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner effectively with regional and global teams to ensure alignment and leverage enterprise capabilities.

  • Ensure the highest standards of business integrity, compliance, quality, and risk management.

  • Develop succession pipelines and strengthen leadership capability across the organization.

  • Represent the company externally and enhance the reputation of DePuy Synthes as a trusted healthcare partner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience within medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related industries.

  • Proven experience leading a business unit, country organization, or significant commercial operation.

  • Strong understanding of the Taiwan healthcare ecosystem, reimbursement environment, and customer landscape.

  • Demonstrated success in driving commercial growth and leading complex organizations through change.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L responsibility.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.

  • Track record of attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.

  • High level of integrity and commitment to compliance and ethical leadership.

  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin proficiency strongly preferred.
