About Specsight

AI changed how software gets built. Teams release new stuff every day, and nobody can keep up. Product, sales, support and marketing fall behind on what's new, what changed and what it means for customers.

Specsight is creating a new category, product observability, for teams building with AI. The goal is to keep everyone in control of what's shipping and how the product works today, so nobody falls behind.

I'm Ola, the founder. I'm an AI engineer by background, and I built Specsight solo, from first line of code in March to paying customers in four months. We're in Slush 100, closing our pre-seed now, and building the founding team.

The role

You'll be one of the first hires at Specsight, and you'll own the product with me end to end. Frontend, backend, AI, infra, all of it. You'll make real product decisions, not pick up tickets.

There's a lot to build. Scaling to bigger codebases and more customers, moving infra as we grow, getting us through security compliance like SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and keeping the product something people actually love using. It's a lot of ownership, and you'll shape the product and the engineering culture from day one.

You'll fit if you

• Have worked at an early-stage startup and know what building from zero feels like
• Can take something from idea to production on your own, infra included
• Have built real products with LLMs and AI agents, and use AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor every day. This one's a must
• Care about how things look and feel, and hate AI slop as much as I do
• Think about the product and the user, not just the code
• Build with AI tools every day, and can't imagine working without them
• Know when to ship fast and when to do it properly
• Take ownership without being told what to do, and tell me when you think I'm wrong
• Speak and write great English

Timing

I'm closing our pre-seed round now, and the role starts full-time once it closes. Until then there's room to start working together on a short paid trial.
