As our Forward-Deployed Engineer, you'll be at the centre of that mission. You'll work directly with customers, uncover opportunities worth pursuing, and lead the engineering that brings them to life. You'll combine the instincts of a founder, the judgment of a technical leader, and the craft of an engineer who loves to build.
Your mandate
Own the path from "Could AI do this?" to "This is how we work now."
That means understanding a business deeply enough to challenge its assumptions, moving quickly enough to demonstrate what's possible, and building rigorously enough to earn trust in production.
What you'll build and lead
- AI that does consequential work. Build agents and applications that reason over business context, use tools, connect systems, and execute complex workflows.
- Transformation from the inside. Work alongside business leaders and operational teams to uncover bottlenecks, redesign workflows, and deliver measurable improvements.
- The full journey to production. Own discovery, architecture, implementation, deployment, and iteration. Stay accountable for what happens after launch.
- Systems people can trust. Make thoughtful decisions about evaluations, reliability, security, human oversight, latency, and cost.
- A stronger product with every deployment. Turn customer discoveries into reusable capabilities and help shape the product roadmap.
- An exceptional engineering team. Set technical standards, mentor engineers, and help build the forward-deployed engineering function while remaining deeply hands-on.
You'll thrive here if
- You have built and shipped software that people depend on, and can explain the hard decisions behind it.
- You're already experimenting with AI models, agents, retrieval, tool use, and AI-assisted development. Your curiosity produces working software.
- You can move comfortably between a customer conversation, a system design, and a pull request.
- You have strong engineering fundamentals and can work across backend systems, APIs, data, integrations, and interfaces.
- You know how to make progress when the problem is unclear, the data is imperfect, and the answer isn't in a playbook.
- You can earn trust with senior stakeholders and the people using your software every day.
- You want responsibility for outcomes and the opportunity to lead others toward them.
