Job title: Finance Strategy Manager
About the Role Drive finance transformation across strategy, operating model, technology, data, and AI. As a Finance Strategy Manager on Deloitte's Finance Transformation team, you will work with Finance and Technology leaders to solve complex challenges, modernize finance functions, and improve business performance.
What You'll Do
- Leading finance strategy and transformation engagements focused on operating model design, process improvement, finance technology, data, and AI.
- Assessing client needs, synthesizing analyses, and developing recommendations aligned to engagement objectives and enterprise value.
- Managing engagement delivery, including workstreams, deliverables, stakeholder communications, and project execution.
- Supporting business development through proposal development, solution design, and client presentations.
- Mentoring teams, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to practice growth.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or consulting, including advising CFOs in finance transformation, finance technology and architecture strategy, data and AI, capital strategy, cost optimization, process improvement, or service delivery and operating model design.
- Experience leading at least 2 large-scale finance transformation projects involving finance process redesign, service delivery model development, or technology implementation.
- Experience implementing at least 1 digital finance technology solution within a finance function, such as robotic process automation, predictive analytics, or data visualization tools.
- Experience managing 2+ workstreams on transformation projects and delivering major milestones on time within scope.
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Nice to Have
- MBA or other advanced business degree.
- Experience managing project or resource budgets exceeding $250,000.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across Finance, IT, Supply Chain, or HR.
- Experience developing proposals and delivering programs with multiple workstreams and teams of 10+ members.
- Experience with finance technology platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, or OneStream, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience across finance processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, close acceleration, or finance business partnering.
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage range: $141,200 to $278,300 per year (USD).
- You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to rules governing the program; award depends on individual and organizational performance.
