Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer – Grid Entry Units to join us at Honeywell in the UK, where you will be responsible for maintenance and commissioning of predominantly Bio-Gas Grid Entry Units at our client sites across the UK, undertaking planned preventative maintenance or troubleshooting issues and to work on projects of new installations on required sites. This is a field-based role, with country wide travel as required with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities
- Manage the annual servicing of the facility, including condition-based servicing and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), and submit full job reports.
- Test the Grid Entry Unit to ensure it is safe and functioning correctly before sign-off, and provide hands-on training and knowledge to new users/operators.
- Investigate issues to identify faults and perform system analysis, carrying out replacements as required.
- Engage with clients to understand issues, make observations, suggest improvements, and provide recommendations.
- Meet customers’ needs via remote support as part of an on-call rota.
Qualifications

Previous experience within industrial servicing or controls systems

Solid analytical/problem solving skills and technical skills with a high level of attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written

Gas industry experience or HND/HNC level qualifications, experience in the Biogas/Biomethane industries would be advantageous
