Mission of the Role:

Plan, coordinate, and oversee environmental, electrical, and EMC testing activities throughout the product development lifecycle. Ensure testing is performed in accordance with customer requirements, international standards, and quality management systems while supporting project teams, laboratory operations, and customer deliverables.

Key Objectives of this Role:

• Analyze customer and internal specifications to define testing requirements and strategies.
• Prepare effort estimations, test plans, and validation schedules for environmental, electrical, and EMC testing activities.
• Prepare project test plans and align testing activities with project teams, customers, and laboratory resources.
• Organize, coordinate, and negotiate test campaigns to ensure timely execution and delivery.
• Verify and confirm test requirements and ensure complete and accurate test requests are entered into VLIMS (Visteon Laboratory Information Management System).
• Ensure testing activities are performed in accordance with applicable standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Perform all activities in compliance with the Management System and applicable standards, including ISO 17025 and IATF 16949.
• Review test results and ensure the validity, integrity, and traceability of test data.
• Prepare, review, and deliver test reports to customers within agreed timelines.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new test methods in accordance with customer and international standards.
• Support internal assessments, accreditation activities, and customer audits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing standards, methodologies, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• On-time delivery of test plans, testing activities, and test reports.
• Accuracy, quality, and completeness of test documentation and results.
• Compliance with customer requirements, ISO 17025, IATF 16949, and applicable standards.
• Successful planning, coordination, and execution of test campaigns.
• Audit readiness and support of accreditation activities.
• Contribution to process improvements and new testing methodologies.

Key Year-One Deliverables:

• Gain proficiency in customer specifications, laboratory processes, and applicable testing standards.
• Independently plan and coordinate environmental, electrical, and EMC test campaigns.
• Consistently deliver accurate test plans and reports within agreed timelines.
• Successfully support ISO 17025 and IATF 16949 audits and assessments.
• Introduce at least one improvement to testing processes, documentation, or methodologies.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, Telecommunications, Natural Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic product testing, validation, or laboratory environments.
• Knowledge of testing methods, standards, and validation processes applicable to electronic products.
• Understanding of environmental, electrical, and EMC testing principles.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI in day-to-day work.
• Very good English, written and spoken.
