Mission of the Role:

Execute, analyze, and report environmental and mechanical testing activities to ensure product compliance with customer, OEM, and industry requirements. Maintain data integrity, support ISO 17025 accreditation, and contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory capabilities, methods, and processes.

Key Objectives of this Role:

• Execute climatic, environmental, and vibration testing according to customer and industry specifications.
• Analyze test results, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and deliver test reports on time.
• Collaborate with Product Development teams to define test setups and review test requirements.
• Prepare test documentation and support ISO 17025 accreditation and OEM recognition activities.
• Ensure quality, validity, and traceability of test data throughout test execution.
• Develop and implement new test methods and capabilities in line with OEM, ISO, and IEC standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of work instructions and procedures.
• Investigate test-related issues and support customer concern resolution.
• Maintain calibration, readiness, and safe operation of laboratory equipment.
• Stay up to date with industry standards, testing methods, and emerging technologies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• On-time delivery of testing activities and test reports.
• Accuracy, quality, and compliance of test results with OEM and international standards.
• Compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.
• Calibration and availability of test equipment.
• Contribution to continuous improvement and laboratory capability development.
• Customer satisfaction and reduction of quality incidents.

Key Year-One Deliverables:

• Achieve proficiency in OEM testing requirements and applicable ISO/IEC standards.
• Successfully execute, analyze, and report environmental and mechanical tests.
• Support ISO 17025 accreditation and audit activities.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Electrical Engineer or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of environmental and mechanical testing principles and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as electro-dynamic shakers, environmental chambers, data acquisition systems, and test instrumentation is an advantage.
• Knowledge of OEM, ISO, IEC, and ISO 17025 requirements is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, test plans, and customer requirements.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with test automation, data analysis tools, or test software development is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI in day-to-day work.
• Good English, written and spoken.
