About the Role
Engineering Manager to lead software engineers building a scalable OTA deployment platform for millions of vehicles. Sibros’ Deep Connected Platform orchestrates OTA updates, vehicle analytics, and remote commands at planet scale, tackling hard distributed systems challenges in automotive contexts.
What You'll Do

Design and implement highly scalable, reliable distributed systems to manage vehicle package and configuration upgrades for millions of vehicles.

Provide technical guidance to team members, solving complex challenges and making architectural decisions to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Lead, manage, and inspire a team of software developers, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Establish methodologies and tools to enhance team productivity and code quality, driving the implementation of industry best practices and standards.

Define project scope and timelines with stakeholders, monitoring progress and mitigating risks to ensure successful completion within budget and schedule.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, firmware teams, and QA engineers to align technical requirements with business objectives and ensure smooth project execution.

What We're Looking For

9+ years of experience as a software engineer with a proven track record of leading technical professionals.

Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.

Expert in writing at least one production-grade programming language (Java, C#, Ruby, Python, or Golang).

Deep experience in designing and implementing production-grade microservices and cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Exceptional communication of project status, risks, and technical concepts to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Startup mindset: willingness to wear multiple hats and adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Orchestration Expertise: Experience developing large-scale deployment or workflow orchestration systems.

Automotive Security: Good understanding of security, certificates, and encryption, including familiarity with update frameworks like TUF or Uptane.

Advanced Systems Knowledge: Experience with streaming architectures and low-latency environments to support real-time vehicle data.
