JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
This position works closely with Design, Standards, AM, Grids, Project Management, Construction, and Supply Chain to assure timely and accurate acquisition of materials. Activities are related to the planning, selection, ordering, scheduling and receipt of materials needed for Substations, Transmission Lines, and System Protection. Project areas include development and assignment of stock codes, material descriptions, purchase specifications, and supplier capabilities.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Specify and order materials requested by Design, AM, Grids, Project Management, Construction and coordinate with suppliers, standards, and Supply Chain to assure that the correct materials are selected, ordered, and received timely with correct accounting.
