Engineer Customized testing solutions

The mission of the position is to plan, develop and implement Customized testing solutions (engineering activities) in order to meet targets reaching budget, performance and standardization with clear focus on customer (internal/external) expectations, Quality and technical compliance.

• Plan and execute Customized testing solution engineering activities

• support translation of Quality and tC strategy into action plans and ensure implementation

• contribute to strategic and operative planning of the Lab units (e.g. with respect to investments, capacity, technical equipment)

• ensure the achievement of technical specifications / engineering targets according to internal and external customer expectations

• initiate and implement continuous improvement activities by applying CBS methods and training measures

• interface to BA and GSC functions in order to gather local testingengineering requirements (e.g. ESH and ergonomics)

• participate in and/or steer global or local testing engineering related and cross-functional projects

• design and implement overall (cross product) testing processes. Design of Laboratory/workplace layout, factory simulation (including logistics processes, ergonomics, etc.) or testing cost calculation according to lean principles and standards

• align with Product and Process Industrialization (PPI) to realize process changes and industrializations of new product specifications (for production testing equipment)

• define standard operation sheet, work combination table and (standard work instruction) job instruction sheet including standard times (e.g. by implementing time studies) based on work instructions and according to standards

• support develop and ensure local implementation of central testing engineering standards

• collect and provide feedback and input for further development of standards regarding testing engineering and production processes (e.g. production flow plan, production control plan, work instructions, standardized work chart, standardized work combination table, job instruction sheet, process parameters, materials), production equipment (e.g. machines, human machine interface, ergonomics, equipment, layout), logistics (e.g. material handling and storage technologies) and quality (e.g. test methods, equipment)

• Knowledge of the development processes of product development and quality assurance (PLC)

• Quality & technical Compliance knowledge

• Lean production/CBS principles, methods and tools (e.g. production management system)

• Products, systems and technologies (functionalities and applications)

• Knowledge of the factors influencing the test result, application of this knowledge to the development of new test methods
