About this role
Energy Systems Technical Manager - Ovar Plant, Portugal
Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership & Organization Building
- Build, structure, and lead the European technical team (engineering, applications, service), Ensure full technical capability to support:
- Water Absorption Chillers
- Auxiliary HVAC systems (cooling towers, heat recovery, controls, hydraulics)
- Define technical processes, standards, service procedures, and documentation
- Lead technical training and capability development for internal teams and partners
- Coordinate closely with Japan for:
- Technical alignment
- Product customization
- Knowledge transfer and escalation
Customer & Market Interface (HVAC & Industrial Clients)
- Act as the senior technical interface with customers, including:
- Industrial sites
- OEMs
- Energy and utility-related clients
- Support commercial discussions with:
