Details: Stefanini Group is looking for a Deskside Technician I for a globally recognized company.
- IT Service Specialist supports the IT department with case team support, office operations, and IT priorities, including user support, computer setup, maintenance and service, telecommunications, and network/infrastructure maintenance.
- Deliver a high level of customer service while supporting case teams and office staff in a fast-paced environment; handles laptops, desktops, smartphones, and phone/voicemail systems.
- Maintain local technology to increase reliability, security, interoperability, and efficiency while reducing costs.
- Understand and discuss IT services and software; capture feedback and evaluate impact of IT service offerings.
- Assist in preparing and deploying laptops, including configuration and imaging; support various operating systems and vital applications.
- Assist with asset tracking, inventory management, and coordination with outside vendors for printers and equipment.
- Provide on-site tech support at events and meetings; communicate status with end users and support teams.
- Maintain notebook/desktop configurations per requirements; assist with documentation and knowledge articles.
- Repair video conference and telecom systems as needed; document issue history in the ServiceNow help desk system.
- Participate in local/global projects; evaluate new technologies for upgrade opportunities.
- Achieve annual goals with IT Service organization and local management; assist with general office projects as needed.

Your Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred

2 years experience in a similar role

Experience with Windows 10, Office Suite, Internet Explorer, VPN/network connectivity

Ability to diagnose problems and escalate appropriately

Basic skills in PC/laptop hardware, software, telecom, mobile devices, networking, and server administration

Solid MS Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
