Job title: Central Account Executive - Private Risk
About the Role The Central Account Executive - Private Risk will maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients by delivering proactive, strategic risk-management services. You will coordinate with carriers, broker servicing networks, and other providers to deliver tailored solutions while supporting revenue growth and client satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients through proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives.
- Understand client requirements and provide strategic planning and consulting, including the production of RFPs, coordination of vendor responses, analysis and comparison of RFP responses, and preparation of client reports with recommendations.
- Consult with clients to review investment options, coverage services, fees, strategies and goals.
- Regularly review large claims and monthly claims experience and discuss results with clients.
- Review profitability and assist on all “fee-at-risk” proposals; assist in establishing and attaining revenue goals for existing and new business.
- Develop and maintain dependable working relationships with carriers, broker servicing networks, and other providers.
- Oversee issue-resolution between Client and Vendor; coordinate market selection for new and renewal business on designated accounts.
- Initiate and duplicate new business report activities; generate new business opportunities through cross-selling; negotiate program terms and costs.
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative activities among those servicing the Client’s account (claims and loss control) and provide information and training to associates.
- Mentor and train junior staff; research industry trends, product development, and government regulations.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent; typically more than 7 years of client services experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrates working knowledge within the brokerage industry.
- Understanding of industry trends and governmental regulations.
- Ability to complete continuing education requirements; attend company, department, and team meetings, including industry training sessions.
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures and protect confidentiality of client and company information.
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft.
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods and outside normal business hours as needed.
- Legally able to work in the United States.
