About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week seasonal assignment to provide technical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the Hybrid OR, Cath Lab, and/or Electrophysiology (EP) department.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and provide excellent care during procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, RNs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with safety and quality protocols.
- Set up procedure trays and coordinate patient care and flow.
- Monitor patients during procedures.
- Assist with inventory management for Hybrid OR, Cath Lab, EP Lab, and interventional labs.
- Report malfunctioning equipment and safety issues per procedures.
- Stay current with interventional cardiology technology and trends.
What We're Looking For
- Current RCIS or RCES certification; BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS within six months of hire).
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
- Minimum of one year experience in Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, or Radiology.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software as needed.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a fast-paced interventional lab setting; ability to manage multiple priorities.
Compensation & Benefits
- 15% Seasonal Premium Pay.
- $1,000 Seasonal Bonus paid after 30 days in position; $1,000 Seasonal Bonus paid after 60 days in position; $1,000 Seasonal Completion Bonus after completion of 13-week assignment.
