About the Role Join our Bundaberg clinic as an Audiologist or Audiometrist to assess, diagnose and manage clients' hearing needs in a patient-centred environment across two locations. This permanent full-time role offers Monday to Friday work and opportunities to grow your expertise within Sonova's network of leading hearing care brands.
What You'll Do
- Assessing and diagnosing the extent of client hearing loss using a wide range of techniques, including audiometric tests
- Reporting results in writing and making referrals to medical practitioners
- Recommending solutions for hearing impairment including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions and assistive listening devices; providing aural rehabilitation programs
- Providing counselling, advice and information to clients and families as part of overall treatment
- Assisting with development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies
- Providing treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders that may be age related, part of a disability, or acquired due to injury or disease
What We're Looking For
- University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification
- Current membership or eligibility for AudA or ACAud incl. HASAA
- Current QP number
- Solid audiological skills and knowledge; excellent customer care and service; passion for delivering an amazing client experience
- Ability to learn and understand new software with training
- Proven ability to achieve KPIs
- Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to continued professional development
- Good teamwork and the ability to network with GPs and other allied health professionals
