Position Summary

Elevate your passion for collegiate sports into a rewarding fundraising career at Doane University as our Athletics Development Officer. In this role, you have the opportunity to support the Advancement and Athletics offices in achieving their annual fundraising goals across all giving levels. This position provides hands-on experience in athletics donor relations, annual giving, event coordination, corporate sponsorships, and major gift support. FLSA Salaried (Exempt)

Salary

$57,000 - $60,000

Minimum Required Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Success in the role requires:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for collegiate athletics

Preferred Qualifications

We would also like to see:

• Prior internship or experience in fundraising, development, sales, or athletics administration
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
• Experience with event planning or volunteer coordination
