About the Role As the Assistant Buyer on the Men's team, you will be at the forefront of innovation and style, ensuring customers have access to the latest trends. You will support the Buying teams by analyzing data and assessing market trends, owning assigned categories, and driving optimizations in cost and quality for best-selling products.
What You'll Do
- Maintain vendor relationships to secure deliveries at optimum cost and quality
- Communicate item availability (in-stock by size/color, incoming stock, pre-orders, delivery dates, and MOQs)
- Present recommendations to Planning for approval
- Enter key purchase orders into the system and upload orders
- Analyze and forecast product performance and inventory using historical data
- Monitor program buys and core items to manage flow
- Recommend promotional activity to drive sales
- Stay ahead of fashion market trends and industry best practices in merchandising/buying
What We're Looking For
- More than one year of experience in replenishment, data analysis, or a similar field
- Experience analyzing data and providing actionable insights
- Proficiency in Excel with complex functions (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Passion for fashion and trend analysis
- BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience in financial analysis or similar role
- English; additional language(s) an advantage
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, core business hours, onsite
