Job Description A leading medical technology organisation is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth and market development across Melbourne and Victoria within its Structural Heart portfolio, with a particular focus on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI).
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven medical device sales professional who enjoys working in a highly specialised clinical environment and partnering with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary heart teams to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and market share across the Melbourne and Victoria territory for the TAVI portfolio
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, cath lab teams and key hospital stakeholders
- Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing and emerging structural heart accounts
- Provide clinical and procedural support during TAVI cases
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve and exceed sales objectives
- Work closely with clinical, marketing and leadership teams to support product adoption and account development
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
Requirements
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience selling TAVI devices within the Australian market

Recent hands on TAVI experience gained within the last 12 months

Strong understanding of structural heart therapies and catheter based procedures

Experience supporting cases within cath lab and operating theatre environments

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

Strong relationship building, influencing and stakeholder management skills

Commercially minded with excellent presentation and communication abilities

Full Australian working rights and willingness to travel across Victoria as required
