Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1–3 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, management consulting, or similar analytical roles

  • Experience engaging with government clients or institutional stakeholders, with ability to manage multiple workstreams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Understanding of project management principles and ability to coordinate multiple priorities

  • Ability to interpret macroeconomic, regulatory, and sector-specific dynamics

  • Willingness to travel and work in dynamic environments

  • Prior exposure to [REGION/GEOGRAPHY – e.g., South Asian / African / Emerging Markets] is a plus

  • Primary Responsibilities

  • Support transaction advisory work including financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis

  • Assist in preparation of investment memoranda, business plans, and client presentations

  • Conduct commercial and market due diligence across sectors and geographies

  • Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling to assess investment risk and return

  • Conduct market, regulatory, macroeconomic, and policy research to inform recommendations

  • Develop insights on sector trends and investment opportunities in [REGION]

  • Support capital raising efforts, including investor identification and outreach

  • Assist in structuring and evaluating innovative financing solutions

  • Maintain internal transaction trackers and knowledge management tools

  • Support business development, including EOIs, RFPs, and proposal development

  • Prepare meeting notes and client engagement summaries

Location

This role is based in Senegal (light to moderate regional and international travel is expected).
