About the Role Endeavor Health Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is a multidisciplinary practice providing inpatient, IOP, PHP, ambulatory, and collaborative care settings. This role is for an Adult Psychiatrist working in inpatient or PHP/IOP programs located in Naperville, Hinsdale, and Wheaton, IL. What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and medical histories, to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes using a patient-centered, recovery-oriented approach.
- Administer and manage psychotropic medications and therapies, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans in line with hospital policies and legal regulations.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and treatment planning sessions to review patient progress and provide recommendations.
- Educate and support patients and their families, promote mental health awareness, and provide resources for coping and self-management.
- Stay informed about advances in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and training. What We're Looking For
- Completion of a psychiatric residency in an ACGME-accredited residency program.
- Board-certified or board-eligible (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology).
- Valid state medical license as MD or DO.
