Job title: Adjunct Pool - Department of Leadership, Policy, & Human Development
About the Role The Department of Leadership, Policy, and Human Development invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach and mentor graduate and doctoral students across three programs: the M.S. in Child and Adolescent Development, the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, and the Organizational Leadership Doctoral Program. We are building a strong adjunct pool of instructors who share our commitment to ethical, culturally responsive leadership and to supporting working professionals through rigorous, practice-connected learning. Applicants will be asked to indicate the specific program for which they are applying and to note courses taught or interest in teaching.
What You'll Do
- Teach and mentor graduate and doctoral students across the three programs
- Contribute to course development, instruction, and assessment
- Support working professionals through academically rigorous, practice-connected learning

What We're Looking For
- Ed.D. Educational Leadership (TK-12 focus): Doctoral Degree; experience as an educational leader; TK-12 leadership experience; technology and learning management systems background; experience with program development, project management, and curriculum; experience with action research
- Organizational Leadership Doctoral Program (Ed.D.): Practical leadership experience in Higher Ed, Non-Profit Organizations, Business, and K-12; familiarity with leadership theories, change management, organizational leadership; experience with program development, project management, and curriculum; experience teaching a full semester doctoral course; familiarity with LMS; experience with research and writing
- Child and Adolescent Development: Master’s degree in Human Development, Developmental Psychology, Education, or related field; Doctorate preferred; knowledge of developmental theories and research across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains; experience supporting adult learners; familiarity with culturally responsive practices
Nice to Have
- Practical PK–12 or early childhood experience in teaching, counseling, student support, or related settings
- Instructional coaching or teacher preparation experience
- Online teaching experience and LMS proficiency
- Strong professional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Curriculum development, program design, or community-based initiatives related to child and adolescent well-being
- Scholarship or teaching focus on equity in development, neurodiversity, or the whole child approach to teaching and/or leadership
