About the Role The Account Executive is the leader of a multi-level risk management team responsible for translating risk and loss profiles into solutions, including program design and pre/post loss risk strategies. They build long-term trusted advisor relationships with clients, producers, and associates to support business growth and drive accountability for account strategy execution while upholding Lockton's values.
What You'll Do
- Lead the risk management team to translate risk and loss profiles into program design and risk strategies (pre/post loss).
- Build and maintain long-term trusted advisor relationships with clients, producers, and associates to support growth.
- Drive execution of account strategies, delegating to account managers and analysts and monitoring client teams.
- Provide strategic planning and consulting for clients, including RFP production, vendor responses, analysis and comparison of RFPs, and client reports with recommendations.
- Consult with clients on investment options, services, fees, strategies, and goals; review large claims and monthly claims experience.
- Review profitability on all fee-at-risk proposals and assist in establishing revenue goals for existing and new business.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and operating/strategic plans within area of specialty; build dependable relationships with carriers and vendor networks.
- Oversee issue-resolution between client and vendors; coordinate market selection for new and renewal business; generate new business through cross-selling.
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative activities (claims, loss control) and mentor junior staff; stay current on industry trends and regulations.
- Travel as needed and participate in required meetings and trainings.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience); typically 7+ years of client services experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of brokerage industry; understanding of industry trends and governmental regulations.
- Ability to attend company and department meetings, complete continuing education, and protect client and company confidentiality.
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and work outside normal business hours; ability to travel by automobile and aircraft; ability to use standard office equipment and work long hours at a computer.
