About the Role Join Accenture as a Zero Trust Security Architect in London to design, implement, and oversee enterprise-scale Zero Trust security architectures. You will work with leading platforms such as Zscaler to help organisations shift to identity-centric, cloud-first security models.
What You'll Do
- Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of Zero Trust architectures for enterprise environments, covering users, devices, applications, and data. Establish secure access patterns using cloud-based security and zero-trust platforms. Create enterprise-wide security blueprints and reference architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Designing scalable identity-centric security controls using SSO, MFA, device posture, and least-privilege access models.
- Collaborating with networking teams to modernize WAN and remote access using cloud security and SASE frameworks.
- Implementation & Hands-On Engineering: Deploy, configuring, and optimising Zero Trust technologies, including policy creation and fine-tuning; App segmentation and connector deployment; Zero Trust Client Connector configuration and rollout; Integrating Zero Trust solutions with identity providers, SIEM/SOAR, and endpoint platforms; migrating legacy VPN/proxy/firewall to cloud-native Zero Trust.
- Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations and technical validation sessions.
- Security Leadership & Strategy: Drive the organization’s Zero Trust strategy and security roadmap; provide architectural governance and security best practices across projects; conduct threat modelling, gap assessments, and risk evaluations; advocate secure-by-design principles.
- Operations & Optimization: Troubleshoot deployment issues and performance concerns; monitor telemetry/logs/analytics; provide technical mentorship and training to internal teams.
What We're Looking For
- Technical expertise: extensive experience in cybersecurity architecture or senior engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with Zscaler technologies; Cloud Firewall, Cloud Sandbox, DLP, CASB.
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust frameworks; IAM.
- Modern network design.
- Endpoint security.
- Soft skills: strong communication and stakeholder management; ability to translate security concepts for business audiences; experience in large, matrixed enterprises; proven cross-functional leadership.
Nice to Have
- Zscaler Certification.
- CISSP, CCSP or similar credentials; cloud certifications.
- Certifications from other leading SASE/SSE vendors beneficial.
- Network certification such as CCNA or equivalent.
