CBS Sports is looking for a temporary YouTube Production Assistant in Fort Lauderdale and/or Stamford for a 6 or 9 month assignment. This position will play an important role in managing the main CBS Sports channel on a daily basis. On top of directly uploading video, they will actively communicate and collaborate with our production, programming, and social teams to maximize viewership of our content.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Monitor CBS Sports programming across streaming, broadcast, cable, and podcast

Identify notable segments and highlight clips with high potential for performance

Optimize video metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails) to maximize discoverability

Work with designers to customize thumbnails for videos; edit templates for thumbnails when necessary

Upload videos and organize clips in timely manner

Edit segments into longform compilations
