About the Role
This role supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. CAPS (Creative Afterschool Program for Success) is the before- and after-school program serving 39 school sites across San Bernardino. Youth Leaders provide direction for children and implement program curriculum to support youth development and safety. What You'll Do

Supervise children during program hours

Develop engaging activities aligned with program curriculum

Maintain safety and positive behavior in all settings

Provide direction to children and support the Youth Development mission within CAPS What We're Looking For
-
1 year of experience working with school-aged children
-
48 semester credits or 72 quarter credits, or NCLB pass
-
CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire

Child Abuse prevention training
-
Clear TB, drug, and background checks; reliable transportation Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $21/hour
