About the Role The Youth Employment Service (YES) program at Eskom Medupi Power Station offers youthful job seekers an opportunity to gain first work experience in the energy sector by performing administrative tasks in Eskom operations across South Africa on a 12-month contract. This internship is aligned with BBBEE and Eskom's commitment to youth development. What You'll Do
- Perform administrative tasks across Eskom Operations as part of the YES internship for a 12-month contract.
- Work at Eskom Medupi Power Station or other Eskom operations across South Africa, gaining exposure to the energy industry and internal processes.
- Adhere to Eskom policies and procedures and demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and customer-focused service. What We're Looking For
- South African citizen
- Aged 18 to 34
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Must not have been employed permanently with a single employer continuously for more than 1 year
- Must not be studying full time in the year of employment
- Must not have participated / registered on the YES initiative before
- Applicants will go through a recruitment process, and if successful, be placed in Eskom Operations across the divisions. Compensation & Benefits
