About the Role Arnold & Porter offers paid work experience for Year 12 students interested in pursuing a career in law. The two-week programme includes a week in the London office with workshops and a second week featuring a day at five organisations through SMBP, plus ongoing mentoring into Year 13.
What You'll Do
- Week 1: Spend a week in our London office with workshops and sessions.
- Week 2: Spend a day at five organisations as part of the Social Mobility Business Partnership (SMBP).
- Ongoing mentoring throughout Year 13 with Mentoring Works.
What We're Looking For
- Be in Year 12 and want to pursue a career in law.
- Attend, and have always attended, a state-funded, non-fee-paying school/college.
- GCSE average of 5.5 or above is prioritised.
- Additional PRIME criteria apply, including: be in receipt of free school meals or other care-related assistance, have been or currently be in local authority care, be a (full-time or part-time) carer, main earner in a routine/manual occupation, refugee or asylum seeker status, or other factors related to access to higher education.
Compensation & Benefits
