About the Role As a Xstore Business Analyst at Valtech, you’ll bridge business stakeholders and the Xstore development team to enable experience innovation in the POS domain. You bring 8+ years of IT experience and a growth mindset, with a passion for meaningful impact and the drive to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
What You'll Do
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Oracle Xstore and its ecosystem (Xadmin, Xcenter, Xservices, Xenvironment, Xmobile, Tablet, etc.).
- Gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications; serve as a Techno-Functional Consultant.
- Drive Xstore localization to meet market-specific and legal compliance needs.
- Lead POC development for new business requirements and innovations.
- Manage customization, enhancements, and development activities in the Xstore product suite.
- Support the full SDLC: design, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Analyze data to identify constraints, solve problems, and optimize solutions.
- Participate in production support to ensure high availability and performance.
- Align with business priorities to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 8–10 years of overall IT experience with 3–4 years in a Business Analyst role.
- Proven experience with Oracle Xstore POS and its ecosystem (Xadmin, Xcenter, Xservices, Xenvironment, Xmobile, Tablet).
- Strong understanding of retail processes, store operations, and POS workflows.
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, functional specs, and solution validation.
- Knowledge of localization, integrations, and custom development in Xstore.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus).
