Job title: Xceptor / Gresham Reconciliation Business Analyst
About the Role Our client is a leading commodity trading and logistics company undergoing a programme to replace the existing reconciliation system Gresham with Exceptor to create an enterprise-wide reconciliation platform. This role partners with business users to translate requirements into a scalable Xceptor solution, driving requirements, migration, testing, and governance across front-to-back offices.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for business users and engage stakeholders across FO, MO, and BO to gather requirements and pain points.
- Facilitate workshops and walkthroughs with business and IT teams; build alignment and timely decisions.
- Elicit, document, and translate business and functional requirements into actionable items for Xceptor implementation.
- Conduct process mapping, document as-is Gresham processes and define to-be Xceptor workflows; perform gap analysis and recommend improvements.
- Support data mapping, reconciliation logic migration, and workflow configuration during migration and implementation.
- Define and execute UAT scenarios; validate outputs and obtain business sign-offs.
- Maintain high-quality documentation (BRDs, FRDs, process flows, data mappings) with traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives (swaps, options, forwards) and full trade lifecycle understanding.
- Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis; track record on migration or transformation programs.
- Excellent documentation skills (BRD, FRD, user stories, workflows) and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with reconciliation platforms like Gresham (Clareti) or similar tools; exposure to Xceptor/Exceptor is a plus.
