Wound Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Bring personalized wound care directly to patients while building your clinical skills with an established practice serving communities for more than 20 years.

We are seeking Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners for local, mobile wound care opportunities. These are primarily full-time, W-2 positions; part-time candidates may also be considered.

• Standard Monday–Friday schedule
• Typical hours: approximately 8:00–8:30 a.m. to 4:00–5:00 p.m.
• Potential four-day workweek for providers who consistently meet weekly patient visit expectations
• Approximately 30–40 patient visits per week, with a minimum expectation of six patients daily for full-time providers
• Local travel between patient homes, generally within your home county or an adjacent county
• Daily driving generally under 100 miles
• Overnight travel is not routinely required; rare emergency coverage may involve overnight travel

Your Role

• Provide wound care during scheduled patient home visits
• Work independently in the field using established clinical protocols
• Write orders and manage care within your authorized scope of practice
• Maintain efficient, accurate documentation in AdvancedMD
• Meet patient visit expectations while traveling throughout your assigned local territory

Ideal Candidates

• Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong interest in wound care
• Comfortable practicing independently and writing orders
• Able to manage local travel and maintain timely documentation
• Early-career providers with approximately one year of experience are encouraged to apply
• Experienced APPs and new graduates may also be considered
• Prior wound care experience is helpful but is not listed as mandatory

Market-specific licensure and credentialing requirements will be reviewed during the recruiting process.

Training & Clinical Support

New hires receive several days of on-site and field training, along with customized wound care protocols and clinical reference resources. Documentation tools are designed to streamline charting and reduce routine after-hours documentation.

Compensation Details

$115K–$120K

$120,000 annual base salary for full-time hires RVU-based productivity bonus opportunity $60 daily gas stipend when at least two patients are seen that day Blue Cross Blue Shield Gold health plan, with approximately 80% of the plan cost covered by the employer 13 paid days off in year one: 10 PTO days plus three sick days
