About the Role
A leading Agro-Allied and Automobile Services company is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee workshop operations and ensure the efficient maintenance, servicing, and repair of vehicles and trailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily workshop activities and technical teams.
- Oversee vehicle and trailer maintenance, servicing, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Assign tasks and monitor the performance of technicians and mechanics.
- Ensure vehicles and trailers remain safe and roadworthy.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure timely repairs.
- Monitor workshop tools, equipment, spare parts, and maintenance records.
- Plan preventive maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures.
- Liaise with Management on repairs, maintenance needs, and workshop requirements.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and team performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Technical qualification/certification in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is an advantage.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a workshop supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven experience working with vehicles and trailers is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Ability to supervise technicians and manage multiple workshop activities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
