About the Role
The Lawson Group provides workers’ compensation programs as a third-party administrator (TPA) — managing three of New Hampshire’s nine self-insured groups and individually self-insured companies — to help businesses protect their employees, respond quickly when injuries happen, and keep claims from spiraling. This role focuses on supporting members through loss control, proactive claims management, and close client collaboration to prevent injuries and keep claims on track.
What You'll Do
- Provide loss control consulting on-site with practical injury prevention and safety improvements that fit how clients actually work.
- Support loss control efforts with focus areas such as:
- Support for safety roles (especially helpful for lean teams)
- Injury trend reviews (what’s happening, where, and why)
- Supervisor-friendly safety coaching and “what good looks like” guidance
- Practical hazard fixes and work-practice improvements
- Manage claims effectively with high-level support including:
- Claims intake and clear next steps for supervisors and employees
- Coordination support (including nurse/case management resources where appropriate)
- Documentation, follow-up, and consistent communication
- Focused on the right care at the right time and a practical path back to work
- Work with dedicated Loss Control Consultants and dedicated Claims Managers assigned to each member to ensure a neighborly, consistent experience and ongoing program effectiveness.
