Job title: Workday Integrations Specialist
About the Role The Workday Integrations Specialist will design, test and deliver secure Workday integrations to enable reliable people services across S&P Global. You’ll be part of the Corporate Platforms team, delivering shared services for People Functions while applying Safe Agile practices to drive high-impact solutions.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the People Platforms team to design, test and deliver Workday integrations
- Adopt Safe software development practices as part of the SDLC
- Follow defined integration/development standards and best practices; ensure data security, privacy and data quality in integrations
- Translate business specifications and change requests into technical specifications; consult with business and technical teams on interface design and maintenance
- Design, develop and test interfaces; conduct unit and integration tests
- Provide support for inbound/outbound integration issues and implement changes or develop new integrations
- Ensure integrations function as designed to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with People Platforms, People (HR) and Employees services teams globally to deliver high-impact work
- Embrace Safe Agile in design, solution development, testing and implementation of integrations
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software/Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 4–5 years of experience as Application Developer in Workday
- Strong understanding of File Transfers, PGP, and Workday modules (Core HR, Recruiting, Payroll Interfaces, Business Processes, Organizational Hierarchies, and Integrations Security)
- Experience developing Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Custom Reports and Document Transforms)
- Knowledge of Workday Web Services, APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards), Workday Studio; XML and XSLT
- Experience supporting integration failures including encryption in production
- Knowledge of Agile approaches to software development and ability to deliver solutions incrementally
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong oral and written communication
