About this role
Denver Seminary is seeking a part-time Work Study in the Enrollment Office to support the Educational Technology (Ed Tech) Team. The role is remote or in the Denver, CO area and projects to assist in delivering courses on our learning management system. Under the direction of the Director of Educational Technology, the Work Study will complete quality control projects such as verifying multimedia functionality, ensuring courses contain essential elements, implementing accessibility standards, and other duties as assigned. This position offers approximately 8-12 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Verify essential elements of courses are present and functioning within the Canvas learning management system
- Link, embed, and format multimedia in Canvas courses
- Perform quality control through “click-throughs” of new course builds to assist instructional designers
- Import and format course content from Moodle to Canvas
- Assist with other course design and quality control projects as needed
Requirements

Must be a student in good standing at Denver Seminary enrolled in a degree program; previous experience is not required

Comfortable learning new software and working with multimedia files

Excellent attention to detail with careful, precise work

Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, or software tools where accurate data entry is essential
