Job Summary
The work study program provides funds for part-time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules, while providing essential services to the College and the community.
Essential Functions
Provides general operational support to the Auto Collision program. Assist with cleaning, organization, material preparation, storage, and other departmental tasks that help maintain an efficient, safe, and well-prepared instructional environment.
Required Qualifications
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and complete assigned tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with instructors, staff, and students.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to perform routine cleaning, housekeeping, organizing, and general support tasks.
Ability to safely lift, carry, and move items as required for the position.
Ability to follow all applicable safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Desired Qualifications
Previous automotive, shop, maintenance, or related experience.
Work Schedule
20 hours per week. Morning and afternoon hours.
