Work Package Controller (VIE - Finance)

About the Role The Work Package Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing work packages within a project, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and effectively. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, monitoring budget and schedule, and providing accurate and timely reports. What You'll Do

• Coordinate and manage work packages within a project, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to define work package scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed work package plans, including resource allocation, task sequencing, and dependencies.
• Monitor work package progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Conduct regular status meetings with project team members to track progress, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment.
• Prepare and present accurate and timely reports on work package performance, including budget, schedule, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to monitor and control work package expenses.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as project management, business administration, or engineering.
• Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
• Familiarity with tools such as Excel and SAP (SAP is a plus).
• Proficiency in English, German (and other European languages is a plus).
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a team player.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Nice to Have
