Job Description
As a Work Inspector, you will play a vital role in supporting Ashghal infrastructure projects. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect structural construction works on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. You will work closely with the project team to maintain the highest standards of construction quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of structural construction works, including foundations, columns, beams, and other structural elements.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and Ashghal requirements.
- Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities during the construction process.
- Provide timely feedback and recommendations to the project team to address any issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection activities.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve construction-related queries.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met during construction activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices in structural construction.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 15 years of experience in structural inspection or construction supervision.

Strong knowledge of structural design principles and construction practices.

Excellent understanding of Ashghal requirements and quality standards.

Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Valid driving license and ability to travel within Qatar as required.
