About the Role Volt is seeking Wiring Technicians in Mt. Juliet, TN. This full-time role involves assembling and wiring complex switchboard and switchgear components, including PLCs and circuit monitors, with opportunities for mechanical assembly and tight-space work inside equipment. Safety and OSHA compliance are priority on-site. What You'll Do
- Assemble and wire complex assembly and subassembly operations for switchboard and switchgear products.
- Wire component circuits including PLCs, circuit monitors, and other advanced electronic devices.
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks and work in tight spaces inside units.
- Operate safely and adhere to OSHA and site-specific standards.
- Lift and hold assembly parts weighing up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and material lists.
- Be prepared for periodic overtime on short notice.
- Collaborate in a team environment and maintain a strong work ethic. What We're Looking For
- Sound knowledge and experience in assembly and wiring techniques.
- Experience wiring in a manufacturing or contract environment.
- Ability to read assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and material lists.
- Ability to lift and hold parts weighing up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
- Steel-toed shoes required.
- Motivation, self-direction, and teamwork; good work record.
- Willingness and ability to work the 2nd shift. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $20-$22 per hour.
