About the Role We are seeking Winter Maintenance Drivers on a fixed-term basis to cover unsociable hours on a rota including weekends, based in Shropshire. You will help keep the UK's roads moving by operating winter service vehicles during colder conditions. What You'll Do
- Drive gritter vehicles to spread salt onto the roads during colder days and nights
- Join the Transportation/Maintenance team to support essential winter works
- Cover unsociable hours on a rota including weekends
- Be available for call-outs depending on weather conditions What We're Looking For
- Experience driving gritter or winter maintenance vehicles (as part of the role)
- Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota including weekends
- Willingness to be on call and respond to weather-related requirements Nice to Have
