Job title: Window Installer
About the Role Our Grand Rapids team is seeking Window Installers to join our growing team. You will set up work sites and perform basic to routine window or door installations and removals, with tear down and clean up in accordance with Renewal by Andersen’s guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Set up the job site and prepare materials for installation.
- Perform window and door installations and removals.
- Tear down and clean up the entire job site in accordance with guidelines.
- Be a brand ambassador by providing excellent customer service and communicating with homeowners.
- Use hand and power tools; lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work independently and as part of a team; maintain schedule between 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Take time to explain the day’s plan, answer questions, and, when appropriate, ask for an online review.
- Ensure quality workmanship and safety in every installation.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Window installation and remodeling experience; proven track record of superior workmanship.
- Scheduled availability to work when homeowners are available (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; working knowledge of hand and power tools; valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy and strong customer-service orientation; accountability and reliability.
- Diagnostic skills: assessment, problem solving, and decision making.
Nice to Have
- Certified Master Installer program (training and certification).
- In-home installation and service experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $16.48-$33.99 per hour, plus up to $500-$615 per period incentive.
- Base pay is based on factors including experience, education, location, and certifications.
- Profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated and paid quarterly based on operating profit.
