About the Role

Renewal by Andersen is seeking highly skilled window and door installation subcontractors to join our award-winning team in Altoona, PA. This 1099 contract role supports residential installations with office-led scheduling and a strong emphasis on quality workmanship and customer service.

What You'll Do

• Install windows and doors as part of a two-person crew in residential settings.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship aligned with our Signature Service and customer expectations.
• Read measurements, prep openings, and install units with precision.
• Coordinate with the office for scheduling; have installations ready with materials provided and staged at the warehouse.
• Manage time and workflow independently; work five days a week, 52 weeks per year, in homeowners' residences.
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure safety and cleanliness on job sites.
• Operate as a subcontractor with own truck, trailer, and tools; provide a certificate of insurance and references as required.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 3 years of window installation and remodeling experience.
• Minimum of a 2-person work crew.
• Proven track record of superior workmanship and strong customer service.
• Availability to work when homeowners are available and in their homes.
• Self-motivation, results orientation, and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and provide references.
• Ownership of your own truck, trailer, and tools.
• Possess a Certified Lead Renovator Certificate.
• Provide general liability insurance ($2M per occurrence), auto liability ($1M CSL), and workers' compensation ($1M).

Nice to Have

• Certified Master Installer Training.
