About the Role MetLife's Wholesale role targets financial professionals (banks, securities firms, and life insurers) through代理店, focusing on strategy design and talent development rather than direct sales. This position offers a path to broaden your金融業界キャリア, with initial placements in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, or Fukuoka and opportunities to engage with金融機関 nationwide.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute sales strategies for金融機関代理店 and support field execution across nationwide clients.
- Lead training sessions and joint-visits to grow代理店担当者 and ensure compliant, effective insurance sales.
- Manage compliance with募集関連規定 and coordinate with所属統括部; travel domestically as required (1 day to 1 week).
- Prepare materials, participate in product study sessions, and contribute to the ongoing growth of banking/代理店 relationships.
What We're Looking For
- Must have at least 2 years of sales experience in banking, securities, or life insurance; or 2+ years of life insurance sales with relevant recent practical experience (within last 2 years).
- Education: college or junior college graduate or higher; license: ordinary vehicle driving license.
- Strong presentation and communication skills; able to build trust with金融機関代理店 and collaborate with related departments.
- Interest in retail banking sales and a proactive desire to deepen financial knowledge.
Nice to Have
- Wholesaler experience.
- Experience handling foreign currency-denominated single-premium life insurance products.
- Ability to effectively communicate and maintain relationships across multiple stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: expected annual compensation range of 6,000,000–11,000,000 JPY (before tax) as a benchmark; exact amounts determined by company guidelines.
