About the Role The role focuses on developing and implementing Eskom's employee wellness programs within the health and wellness environment, including HIV/AIDS and TB in the workplace. It involves managing sickness, absenteeism and medically incapacitated employees, and supporting change management initiatives to promote a healthy workforce. What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate employee wellness initiatives and healthy lifestyle management in the workplace
- Manage sickness, absenteeism and medically incapacitated employees
- Develop and implement HR systems, policies and procedures related to wellness
- Drive change management and large-scale wellness projects
- Present and facilitate trainings; ensure excellent written communication
- Monitor disease management, including non-communicable diseases, and support disability access initiatives
- Promote open and transparent communication and teamwork aligned with Eskom values What We're Looking For
- Qualification: Grade 12 PLUS National Diploma in Health Science / Health Information / Social Science / Industrial Psychology / Social Work at NQF Level 6 with 240 Credits
- Experience: minimum 3 years in health and wellness environment
- Behavioural: Integrity, honesty, trustworthiness, professionalism
- Leadership: ability to live Eskom vision and values, grow people, promote teamwork, and advocate for right behaviour
- Knowledge: employee wellness, HIV/AIDS and TB workplace management, chronic disease management programmes, HR policies and procedures, sickness/absenteeism management, change management
- Skills: presentation and facilitation, excellent written communication, project management, computer literacy, problem solving, analytical, crisis management and debriefing, people management Nice to Have
