Salary: £32,937

Benefits: 3 x life assurance policy, up to 10% annual bonus, 5% employer pension, sick pay and additional benefits.

Location: Based in Any SUEZ Office in the South West such as Avonmouth, Bridgwater, Taunton, Devon, Weston-Super-Mare - you will be office based 3 x per week with 2 days WFH

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Mon- Fri, Part time options please share your requested working hours in your application

Start Date: 4th January 2027

About the role

What will I be doing?

As a Wellbeing and Inclusion Officer, you will support the delivery of our Wellbeing, Inclusion and Diversity strategy, working alongside the Wellbeing and Inclusion Manager, Regional Health, Safety & Wellbeing teams, and HR colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with managers and colleagues to plan and deliver engagement and wellbeing activities across the Somerset contract, supporting employee experience, inclusion and wellbeing.
  • Supporting employee wellbeing, inclusion and diversity initiatives across the South of the UK, helping to deliver local action plans and engagement activities.
  • Enhancing the onboarding experience by introducing new employees to wellbeing resources, employee benefits, and support networks.
  • Coordinating and supporting Wellbeing and Inclusion Ambassadors, ensuring colleagues in both operational and office-based roles can access support and opportunities to get involved.
  • Using employee feedback and local data to help develop regional wellbeing and inclusion plans that reflect the needs of the workforce and align with company strategy.
  • Supporting wellbeing conversations, signposting colleagues to appropriate support services, and promoting initiatives through regional meetings, campaigns and events.

What are the requirements?

We welcome applications from people with transferable skills and diverse experiences. To succeed in this role, you'll ideally have:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with people at all levels.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to create and deliver engaging content.
  • Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive, innovative and solutions-focused approach, with a genuine passion for wellbeing, inclusion and creating positive workplace experiences.
  • Have or ability to complete IOSH Managing Safety / NEBOSH Wellbeing at Work (desirable but not mandatory)
