Welder Millwright Mechanic
Position Summary: The duty of Welder is to support ANDRITZ Separation Inc. on all service and repair work assigned by the Service Center Manager adhering to all Safety requirements expected both individually and shared throughout the organization. The Welder will work within the guidelines related to executing assigned task by his/her direct Supervisor.
Typical Duties:
- Weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions that may involve heights
- Ignite torches or start power supplies and strike arcs by touching electrodes to metals being welded.
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
- Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors
