Welder/Grinder
Location: Hanover, PA Shift: 1st Shift Job Type: Direct Hire Pay: $24.00/hour
Position Summary
The Welder/Grinder performs skilled welding and grinding work on stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. This role requires precision, attention to quality, and a strong commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Weld and grind stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metal components.

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

Operate an overhead crane to move materials as needed.

Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify flaws.

Read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Use basic math and geometry to complete work accurately.

Perform other duties as required to support production.
Requirements

Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Professional welding certification is a plus.

Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet fast-paced project demands.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
