Welder

About the Role CNH Industrial is hiring a Welder to join our assembly team on the production line. The role focuses on assembling component parts into complete units according to engineering specs and work instructions, with emphasis on line-side operations. What You'll Do

• Apply, align, attach, insert, and fasten various commodities, components, parts, sub-assemblies, or units to chassis in the required order and sequence.
• Work from engineering specifications (work instructions), sketches, schematic diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, check sheets, photo books, and verbal instructions.
• Perform necessary adjustments as unit progresses along the assembly line.
• Record defects requiring off-line and on-line corrections; detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, excessive continuation of defective parts, improper function, and assembling to proper supervision or management.
• Visually inspect parts and assemblies for completeness, function, operation, and appearance.
• Assist in the development of assembly practices and procedures.
• Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• May perform touch-up or small repair work when needed. What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and related documents (work instructions, sketches, schematics, blueprints, process sheets, check sheets, photo books, and verbal instructions).
• Visually inspect parts and assemblies for quality and appearance; record defects and report issues.
• Move materials and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
