Welder

About the Role CNH Industrial is seeking a Welder to join its manufacturing team. You will weld metal components per layouts, drawings, and procedures, ensuring quality and leak-proof seams while following supervisor directions. What You'll Do

• Work from orders, blueprints, route and method sheets, and direction from supervisor.
• Weld metal components using electric wire feed welding equipment per layout, diagram, work order, and welding procedures.
• Obtain welding fixtures and positioners from storage and identify by part number per route sheet.
• Weld beads of prescribed length, radius, and size to join elements and ensure leak-proof seams when required.
• Weld regular and irregular, eccentric, and symmetrical weldments of simple or designed configurations.
• Vary amperage and voltage to obtain quality weld at maximum linear speed.
• Set up and check fixtures to obtain accurate angular, dimensional, and spatial relationships within specified limits.
• Strike arc to melt and deposit metal from electrode to workpiece, joining edges of pieces.
• Manually guide welding gun along weld line, maintaining arc length and speed for correct depth and bead.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions.
• Clean or degrease weld joints using wire brush, grinder, or chemical bath.
• May cut metal plate or structural shapes with oxy/acetylene torch.
• Overtime may be required in addition to occasional Saturday operations. What We're Looking For
• 1 year of manufacturing experience and/or a certificate/degree in welding.
• Ability to read orders, blueprints, route sheets, and follow supervisor directions.
• Experience with MIG (electric wire feed) welding equipment and arc welding.
• Skill in varying amperage and voltage to produce quality welds and controlling heat input.
• Ability to set up, clamp, and check fixtures and position parts accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to weld in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions.
• Basic cleaning/degreasing of weld joints. Compensation & Benefits
• Starting pay: $27.24 per hour.
