The Opportunity

Already thinking about making the move across the Tasman?

We’re looking for Production Welders to join our manufacturing team in Hastings, Victoria, on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula located an hour and a half from Melbourne.

This is a great opportunity for a New Zealand welder who wants the lifestyle change Australia offers, without giving up the things that matter: stable employment, job security and predictable Monday–Friday work. You’ll enjoy a standard five day week, with weekends free to enjoy the lifestyle.

You’ll work alongside an experienced manufacturing team, welding, fabricating and assembling Norton livestock handling equipment. There’s plenty of variety across the product range, along with opportunities to broaden your skills.

The Fit

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a workshop, takes pride in doing a good job and enjoys being part of a team.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience in welding or fabrication within a manufacturing environment

• MIG welding experience, with TIG and ARC experience advantageous

• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• A practical, team-first attitude

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Trade qualifications or welding certifications are highly regarded, but aren't essential for the right person.
